Time to Dance playlist.

1.Sister Golden Hair-America
This is really a great song, a classic. My mom listened to America non-stop when I was a kid and now I listen to them non-stop. Besides Walking Man's Road from the Last Unicorn soundtrack, this is their best song.
2.Girls and Boys-Blur
Damon Albarn is a genius. I love the upbeatedness (is that even a word) of this song even though it's about a serious issue.
3. Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell)-Bouncing Souls
Best breakup song. Ever.
4. Free Me-Cipes and the People
It's so fun and cheery and romantic. Reminds me of Teen Titans. Bet you can guess why.
5. On Melancholy Hill-Gorillaz
Another Damon song. I love this song, it's so happy sounding but the lyrics are sad. It's about the plasticness of today's society.
6. To Binge-Gorillaz ft. Little Dragon
There are no words.
7. Fluff 'N' Fold-The Launderettes
I have no idea how my dad discovered this song, but it's a fun little punk tune.
8.Celebrity Status-Marinana's Trench
It's so catchy and so true. Mariana's Trench is a great band. Shaketramp is a fun one as well.
9. What If-Meg and Dia
Oh the enchanting Meg and Dia. What If is just good. Really and truly good.
10. Hug Me-Meg and Dia
One of my favorite songs ever. Really shows of the song writing skills of the sisters.
11. Roses-Meg and Dia
See Hug Me.
12. Shut Me Up-Mindless Self Indulgence
Ah, everyone's first MSI song. I adore this song and always will. I still don't know what it's about but the music video was directed by Johnen Vazquez and is hysterical.
13. Northern Downpour-Panic! At the Disco
A fun little tune. Panic! was so chipper at this time, a nice break from the dark alt pop-rock of the first album (which I loved). Very much like the Beatles.
14. Time to Dance-Panic! At the Disco
Brendon's voice is amazing in this song. This is written about Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, which I really, really want to read. The story sounds so good.
15. All Because of You-Puffy
Fun little unrequited love poppy rock tune from the Japanese duo. It's not overly cutesy like most Japanese pop-rock (or Japanese pop in general). It sounds (lyrically and musically) like something you would hear from an American tween pop artist, but with a little more edge.
16. Same Jeans-The View
A Scottish Indie band that my dad discovered. I don't know where he keeps getting these bands. This is off of their first album, Hats off to the Buskers. I don't know much about this band but the song is great
17. The House of Awesome Theme Song-The Whomping Willows
My first wrock song. It's got a great message too, it's very fun.
18. Threshold-Sex Bob-Omb
I'm a huge Scott Pilgrim fan. This is probably the best "Sex Bob-Omb" song.
19. White Rabbit-Emiliana Torrini
I didn't like Jefferson Airplane's song, but I like this cover. It was used for the Suckerpunch soundtrack. It's so ethereal.  Emiliana has a beautiful voice.
20. You'll Rebel To Anything-Mindless Self Indulgence
Ah, the theme song of my friend group.

Maybe I should split

It's gotten to be to much, Kayt. I don't know what to do. Should I just leave the group? Who would I hang out with?

I guess it's just high school, but I shouldn't feel this way.

Kayt, I don't know how often you read this blog, but it's targeted towards you, as you are one of the only people I can really talk to anymore and you're never on facebook/answer your phone.

High school sucks. I know, I know. It's high school, it's supposed to suck, but my friends shouldn't make me feel like crap. Most of them don't even know they're doing it. I can't voice ANY opinions at all without being attacked, and then made to feel like I'm a horrible person. I'm an outcast in my friends, or at least I feel like it. I write a poem every time someone makes me feel less than human. I started this less than a month ago, and I have 20 poems.

None of my friends at school seem to listen anymore. I'm so excited for the play because the "hardcore" drama kids treat me with respect. I wish I could hang out with them, but that would be so weird middle of my junior year. Plus, most of them would be graduating this year. Sure, I'm not an angel, but if I'm mean to someone, I don't mean it. I'm sarcastic. I don't mean it.

Lauren told me to write this blog. I stayed up late with her talking about it. It was nice to finally talk to someone about it, but she was worried that I was keeping it all in. So I wrote this blog, and I'm addressing it to you in hope you'll answer. I'm tired of keeping it all inside of me.

My Little Town

I adore my little town (actually it's a city, but it feels like a town). Sometimes it gets a little boring, but it still is my hometown.

Ok, techincally the last one is of Nashville, not Franklin. Oh well.

ugh!

Will someone explain why these are the only pictures of Nathan Keyes on my computer?

SPEECH UGH!

Speech is going to be the death of me. Not APUSH, not AP English, not French, not theater, not CAT...ok possibly astronomy might have something to do with it. But I'm seriously freaking out about my Yale trip coming up in little over a week (I fly out the 23rd). This is bad guys.
