Great

So, um, well, we started Wuthering Heights today in English. I'm not looking forward to it. By the way my teacher talks about it, I should love it. But I HATE books like it. I just don't like "chick" books. So either I'm going to love it, or I'm going to be totally mortified by it and I'm going to be sitting in a corner muttering "gimmemyfantasyback"

  1. I read Wuthering Heights on my own...
    I liked it. It wasn't anything like the mushy-mushy romance your teacher probably makes it out to sound.
    In fact, I can't really accurately describe it. Because it over-whelmed me-- It had a TON of stuff going on. I'm not kidding. I was confused as to how it was even considered a romance novel for most of the book.
    I probably over-thought most of it, but it doesn't matter.
    It's slow-moving in some parts, but really quickly moving in others.
    You'll love some characters and hate others. But all in all, I... I dunno.
    I still can't really describe this book. ^^;

  2. See I'm not a huge fan of the classics, I mean I LOVE Dumas and Dickens, but other than that, there's not much I like. I mean I love to read, but I like more contemporary stuff.
